The 25th Workshop on Requirements Engineering (WER 2022) was held at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) in Natal, Brazil, from August 23rd to 26th. The event marked a milestone in the WER series and brought together a diverse international community to discuss key challenges in Requirements Engineering. Featuring keynote talks from prominent researchers such as Daniel Amyot, Luis Olsina, Luiz Marcio Cysneiros, and Óscar Pastor, the program spanned multiple tracks including Research, Journal First, Tools, and Master's and Doctoral sessions. Highlights included industry talks on real-world requirements in public health systems, a tutorial on security requirements elicitation, and a retrospective panel celebrating 25 years of WER. The open-access proceedings showcased innovative work on privacy, design thinking, machine learning, and safety requirements, reflecting the event’s commitment to academic excellence and industry relevance.
